Idk if this has been asked before but what type of clothes would the crew wear in a modern au? Asking for fanart reasons haha

hello friend! interesting question... first off, ofc, they can wear whatever you want them to wear in a modern AU

siva probably wears the exact clothing his uni professors wore: shirts 6 times too big for him and courderoy slacks - absolutely not in a dark academia way, in a way where he looks like a drowned mouse. when noor helps him pick out clothing that fits him, everyone's suddenly like 👀???

I think that Kosar Ali has an excellent sense of fashion, and though she is British Somali, not Yemeni, I like to think that Noor would have days in similarly simple yet stunning clothing - and when not, in comfortable vintage clothing - layers and layers to play with colour and shape - elegant but also cute!

Alestes... i want to say she still wears her fuckoff pirate coat and boots, but tbh she's the kind of person who wears practical clothing - cargo trousers & a thick polo shirt - but i think she's the type who wears her culture in her accessories - enough to be impactful (beaded dangling earrings, a thick necklace, a headwrap), but not to be stared at.

i don't think Baker's fashion changes from his 19th century self... thick, waterproof utility wear? but at home he swaps corded jumpers for knitted, cute ones

inez is an enigma and cannot be trapped in a box. maybe he does the modernised barong looks, but tbh i feel like she dresses like a k-pop star in whatever trend is happening. but like, a kpop star who is supposed to be in disguise. mask, baseball cap, sunglasses.

anh's in whatever shows the most skin, or to be provocative. maybe the type to just wear her sports bra & running shorts out. or some excellent dresses. or dresses over the running gear.
